Delhi: 'Debt-ridden' family including 2 children charred to death

New Delhi: In a tragic incident, a family of four including two children was charred to death in Uttam Nagar. Police sources said that prima facie it appears to be a case of suicide.

Meanwhile, the neighbours claimed that the family had a financial debt of over Rs 40 lakh. The neighbours informed the police and the fire station after noticing the blaze. The police are now investigating the case.

One of the fire officials at the site said, "After the fire was brought under control, we found four bodies charred beyond recognition."
