Question by Jenna: My husband is in the construction industry (carpentry). With the industry so slow, should he change careers?
He has been laid off for 2 months. Everything we hear and read seems to indicate that the construction industry will be slow for at least the next 2-3 years. Should my husband think about changing careers? He?s been in his trade for 10 years and loves it, but we?re trying to make the best choice for our family.
He is a union carpenter.
